1. General Provisions
1.1. he purpose of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the Privacy Policy) is to provide the Data Subject with information about the purpose, legal basis, scope, processing periods, and protection measures of Personal Data processing carried out by PVC Technologies, as well as about the Data Subject’s rights in relation to the processing of Personal Data. Additional information on Personal Data processing may be included in contracts, confidentiality notices, and other documents, as well as on the websites of PVC Technologies.
1.2. This Privacy Policy applies to PVC Technologies.
1.3. PVC Technologies respects the privacy of Data Subjects and the protection of Personal Data, ensuring the Data Subjects’ right to lawful processing of Personal Data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and applicable national and other regulatory enactments in the field of privacy and Personal Data processing.
1.4. PVC Technologies has implemented appropriate organizational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, unlawful disclosure, accidental loss, alteration, destruction, or any other unlawful processing.
1.5. Personal Data is obtained directly from the Data Subject and from services used by the Data Subject (e.g., electronic communication via email), as well as from external sources (e.g., public registers or databases) or other persons (e.g., from a legal entity represented by the Data Subject, or where the Data Subject is an employee, official, or beneficial owner). PVC Technologies may record telephone conversations, video and/or audio, store email correspondence, or otherwise document the Data Subject’s interaction and communication with PVC Technologies.
2. Terms and Abbreviations Used in the Privacy Policy
2.1. Processing – any operation or set of operations performed on Personal Data or sets of Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment, combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction;
2.2. Data Processor – a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller;
2.3. Data Controller – PVC Technologies, which processes the Personal Data of the Data Subject in accordance with the purposes and means of Personal Data processing determined by it;
2.4. Data Subject – a potential, current, or former client of PVC Technologies who is a natural person; a job applicant; a visitor; a website visitor and user; a participant in events organized by PVC Technologies; an employee, official, contact person, authorized person, or beneficial owner of legal entities (e.g., PVC Technologies, business partners, tenants, etc.); and any other identified or identifiable natural person whose Personal Data is processed by PVC Technologies;

2.6. Personal Data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Data Subject);
2.7. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

4. Purposes of Personal Data Processing
4.1. PVC Technologies processes Personal Data mainly for the following purposes:
4.1.1. compliance with legal requirements;
4.1.2. conclusion and performance of contracts;
4.1.3. order processing, delivery of goods, and fulfillment of warranty obligations;
4.1.4. preparation of invoices and settlements;
4.1.5. identification of the client/Data Subject;
4.1.6. ensuring communication;
4.1.7. ensuring the operation of PVC Technologies, including administrative, accounting, and archival functions;
4.1.8. organization of PVC Technologies’ personnel recruitment processes, insofar as they relate to recruitment;
4.1.9. PVC Technologies’ marketing activities (e.g., providing information and offers, organizing events for business partners/employees and their family members and publicizing them in the media and social networks, promoting brand recognition of PVC Technologies);
4.1.10. obtaining and retaining evidence in the event of civil disputes;
4.1.11. review of submissions/complaints and other documents;
4.1.12. other purposes in legally justified cases.
4.2. In all cases referred to in Clause 4.1 of this Privacy Policy, PVC Technologies processes Personal Data only to the extent permitted by the specific purpose of processing and in accordance with the procedures required and allowed by applicable regulatory enactments.
5. Legal Basis for Personal Data Processing
5.1. PVC Technologies processes Personal Data based on the following legal grounds:
5.1.1. Conclusion and performance of a contract – processing is carried out to ensure contract conclusion, provision of services/sale of goods, settlement processes, resolution of issues arising from concluded contracts, and actions prior to contract conclusion;
5.1.2. Compliance with a legal obligation – processing is necessary for PVC Technologies to comply with obligations imposed by regulatory enactments, such as administrative, accounting, and archival requirements, requirements related to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and international sanctions, as well as to comply with requests from law enforcement, supervisory, and other authorities within the scope and procedure prescribed by law;
5.1.3. Legitimate interests – Personal Data may be processed, for example, for the prevention and detection of criminal offenses related to property protection, obtaining and retaining evidence in civil disputes (video surveillance), debt recovery, prevention of losses, protection of the rights and interests of PVC Technologies’ clients and business partners, and promotion of PVC Technologies’ brand recognition. Personal Data is also processed based on legitimate interests within the personnel recruitment process. In such cases, an assessment is carried out to ensure that the processing does not adversely affect the Data Subject’s privacy;
5.1.4. Consent – in certain cases, PVC Technologies requests the Data Subject’s consent for Personal Data processing. In such cases, the Data Subject is separately informed of the specific purpose of processing. Consent may be withdrawn at any time;
5.1.5. Public interest – in certain cases, Personal Data processing may be carried out in the public interest, mainly in emergency situations where processing is necessary due to unforeseen threats to society or to a specific Data Subject, for example, related to the spread of COVID-19.
6. Transfer / Disclosure of Personal Data
6.1. PVC Technologies may transfer Personal Data to persons to whom it is entitled or obliged to disclose such data under regulatory enactments or concluded agreements (e.g., Data Processors, legal service providers, etc.), or if the Data Subject’s consent has been obtained.
6.2. PVC Technologies may transfer Personal Data mainly to the following recipients:
6.2.1. institutions and officials, supervisory authorities, tax authorities, law enforcement authorities, sworn bailiffs, sworn notaries, courts, and out-of-court dispute resolution bodies;
6.2.2. credit institutions and financial institutions, insurance service providers, and third parties involved in transaction execution, settlements, and reporting;
6.2.3. financial and legal consultants, auditors;
6.2.4. information system and database service providers;
6.2.5. debt collection service providers, assignees, insolvency administrators;
6.2.6. other persons and suppliers involved in service provision to PVC Technologies, including video surveillance, IT, telecommunications, archiving, postal service providers, etc.
6.3. PVC Technologies does not carry out regular or planned transfers of Personal Data to third countries (countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area); however, Personal Data may be processed by Data Processors located in third countries (e.g., developers of technical solutions or service providers). In such cases, PVC Technologies ensures the procedures required by regulatory enactments to provide a level of Personal Data protection equivalent to that required by the GDPR.
7. Retention Period of Personal Data
7.1. PVC Technologies does not store Personal Data longer than necessary for the relevant processing purpose or longer than required by applicable regulatory enactments.
7.2. The retention period depends on the purpose for which the Personal Data was obtained and whether a specific retention period is prescribed by law.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
